A list of permitted uses by right and uses allowed by special use permit can be found for each zoning classification in the County’s Zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 30-79(add link).

Prior to obtaining building permits, you will need to prepare and submit a site plan for review by the Division of Planning.

If you are not familiar with the process, Community Development offers "Consultation with Planning Staff” to potential applicants to address your specific questions/concerns about your property or the appropriate application process.

A parcel’s zoning district can be found on the County's Public GIS Viewer by searching with the parcel ID, property address, or owner(s) name(s). The Zoning Map can be found on the Public GIS Viewer as well. 

To view the Zoning Map you will need to click on the "View in Map" link in the top-right corner of the screen and choose the "Zoning-County" layer on the left column under “Map Layers”.
