The Community Policy and Management Team (CPMT) manages the cooperative effort in each community to better serve the needs of troubled and at-risk youths and their families and to maximize the use of state and community resources.

Bedford County CPMT meets the last Wednesday of each month at 3 p.m. in the large meeting room on the ground floor of the County Administration building (122 East Main St., Bedford).

Meetings are open to the public with the exception of closed sessions where specific case details are discussed.

This meeting has been cancelled due to a tabletop exercise that is occurring on Wednesday, October 16.

The Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) exists to ensure that all acts required by SARA Title III, the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of 1986, are complied with and that all necessary work related to developing a comprehensive chemical emergency response plan for the Town of Bedford and Bedford County is accomplished.

Meeting are held quarterly (January, April, July, October) on the second Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. 2024 locations will be announced prior to each meeting.
