The Planning Commission is responsible for all Bedford County zoning and subdivision matters and applicable zoning ordinances.
There are seven members on the Planning Commission. They are all appointed by the Board of Supervisors by district.
The Planning Commission meets the first Tuesday of each month.
Bedford County administrative offices will be closed on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, in observance of Christmas.
The Waste Management Facility, gated waste convenience centers, and the Bedford Area Welcome Center will also be closed.
