The Planning Commission is responsible for all Bedford County zoning and subdivision matters and applicable zoning ordinances.
There are seven members on the Planning Commission. They are all appointed by the Board of Supervisors by district.
The Planning Commission meets the first Tuesday of each month.
Bedford County administrative offices will close at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in observance of Thanksgiving.
All other facilities, including Waste Management, will be open for normal hours.
