Public Notice:
Please take notice that the Board of Supervisors has added a Worksession, which will be held at 5:00 pm on November 23, 2020, in addition to the Regular Meeting already scheduled for 7:00 pm that same evening. The purpose of the Worksession will be to discuss CARES Act funding for several school HVC systems and boardroom improvements, and to hear updates on the Sheriff’s evidence building and the former Montvale Elementary School. (Both meetings will be held in the boardroom of the Bedford County Administration Office, 122 E. Main Street, Bedford, VA.)
If you do not want to attend the Regular Meeting in person but would like to submit a comment for the “Citizen Comment” period, and/or for the Public Hearing, (#6a, consideration of a resolution approving Special Use Permit #SU20-0007 to establish a “Meeting Hall” use on parcels identified as Tax Map #207-A-29D and 207-A-29E), you may do so by emailing your comment to publichearing@bedfordcountyva.gov. Please put either “citizen comments” or “public hearing” in the subject line so staff will know when during the meeting your comments should be read into the record. Emailed comments must be received no later than 4:00 pm on 11.23.2020.
If you would like to watch the Regular Meeting from home, it will be livestreamed online at https://www.youtube.com/CountyofBedford beginning at 7:00 pm.
